Greg Abbott has asked the Texas Rangers to investigate misconduct allegations at the famed Karolyi Ranch, the U.S. Olympic training facility in southeast Texas, north of Houston, where Nassar treated athletes.
HISD lends helping hand for MLK Day of Service and Community Fair
Houston Independent School District’s Community Partnerships and Nutrition Services will partner with UnitedHealth Group and other organizations for a day of service prior to celebrating the legacy of the late Dr. Martin Luther King Junior which is recognized nationally every year in January. This free event will kick off with the cleanup of a local community garden followed by a food distribution. Families will also be able to take part in fifteen resource vendors that will be on hand to provide free services.
