Court TV has renewed the original true-crime series “Someone They Knew With Tamron Hall” for a second season and has added it to its primetime schedule on weeknights at 7 p.m. ET. The show now serves as a lead-in for the network’s flagship program, “Closing Arguments with Vinnie Politan” (8-10 p.m. ET).

AutoGrid announced a collaboration with Willdan to accelerate adoption of heat pump water heaters to decarbonize buildings by replacing emissions-intensive, gas-fired water heaters. This collaboration will leverage AutoGrid's Virtual Power Plant platform to add significant levels of flexible grid capacity, starting in the CAISO energy market. The flexible capacity, when combined with other resources managed by AutoGrid's VPP platform, strengthens the grid and helps reduce the probability of blackouts during periods of peak energy demand.

The League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) issued the following statement Monday in the wake of a new lawsuit filed against the State of Texas by the U.S. Department of Justice. The federal action announced by U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland said that Texas' new redistricting maps discriminate against Latinos and other minorities while unfairly increasing the power of white voters. Ironically, the announcement made in Washington, DC came as LULAC General Counsel, Luis Roberto Vera, Jr., was laid to rest in San Antonio, Texas. Vera died November 21, 2021, following a long illness. He spearheaded several recent voting rights lawsuits against Texas for the same reasons cited Monday by Attorney General Merrick.
