Stepfather of Missing Houston Girl, 4, 'Person of Interest' in Her Disappearance

As desperate searchers combed the landscape Tuesday in a wooded area of a Northeast Houston neighborhood where a man told investigators his 4-year-old stepdaughter was abducted last Friday by three men in a pickup truck, police revealed he's now a "person of interest" in her disappearance.

St. Peter The Apostle Catholic School Closing

After 77 years of educating children in Houston’s Third Ward, St. Peter The Apostle Catholic School is closing its doors. Houston Public Media reports the superintendent over the archdiocese’s schools, Debra Haney, said that a lot of the decision came down to financial pressure. It’s also a reflection of the toll that charter schools have put on not just public schools, but also parochial schools like St. Peter’s.

A-Game Sports Marketing announced today that the honoree for the inaugural “Laughs with Legend” event will be Houston Oilers Legend and Pro Football Hall of Fame member Warren Moon. The event, which will take place at the Houston Improv on January 31, 2016 will also feature George “Mr. Las Vegas” Wallace as the comedy headliner and four legendary former NFL players in a skit called “The Legends Liars Club.” These players are: Andre Reed, Pro Football Hall of Fame; Larry Centers, NFL record-holder; John Randle, Pro Football Hall of Fame; and Bubby Brister, NFL record-holder.
