Family Houston Young Professionals Host First Happy Hour
Family Houston’s Young Professionals Board of Directors recently hosted their first happy hour at Fuego’s Saloon. The event brought in over 40 attendees where guests were able to mingle with the Young Professionals Board, staff, and Family Houston’s very own Board of Directors. The event was sponsored by Verisei Consulting and $1,176 was raised throughout the night. Thank you to everyone who came out and made the event a success!

Additionally, this project will have a dramatic impact on workforce development and, ultimately, the local economy, as the City of Houston seeks to increase the literacy skills of Houstonians by one level. It was a beautiful day to give back to the Houston community following the rough week we've all had dealing with the after math of the Winter storm. Cars started to line up all along the back roads of Acres Homes as guests prepared for today's giveaways. The line stretched all the way from Burns Bar-B-Que to the light at Little York Rd. with guests who had started arriving as early as 7:30am.
