Phyllis Burton is the CEO and Founder of the V.O. Burton Foundation Inc. This nonprofit organization was created in honor of her late father Varn O. Burton. He managed over seven apartment complexes in the Trinity Gardens community. During his tenure he relentlessly gave back to the community and was an agent of change. He would visit tenants that transitioned to nursing homes and bring them needed items and a home cooked meal that he prepared himself. The V.O.
