Assets of Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen Sold for $15.3 Million
Houston based private equity firm ZT Wealth recently announced that they have exited their portfolio entity ZT Restaurants, L.P. for $15.3 million, implying an EBITDA multiple of 7.19x. In this liquidity event, ZT Restaurants, L.P. sold its assets of world-renowned Quick Service Restaurants brand, Popeye's Louisiana Kitchen. ZT Restaurants, L.P. partners will make over a 25% return in addition to their original investment. The investment has generated an IRR of over 23%, which includes 10% cash on cash distributions during the investment life cycle.

For Open Letters, Menjivar has invited prisoners on Texas’ death row to write letters to the public about their experiences and the trauma they and their families have experienced post-conviction. The V.O. Burton Foundation celebrated Women’s History Month on March 18th by hosting It’s March Madness Give Back Event At The Salvation Army Jones Residence Center In Houston, TX. This facility house women and children who are experiencing homelessness. Care packages were given to the ladies and backpacks with essential and fun items were given to the children. The youngest client the V.O. Burton Foundation served was three years old. Ms. Burton stated it was a privilege to serve these families in honor of Women’s History Month.
