HISD Statement On Safety Protocols

Yes, why would groups like the NAACP and National Urban League have this long- standing love affair with construction unions. These unions have racial animist. They are the antipathy of civil rights and democracy. Yet, when you attend annual meetings of these organizations you find a big presence of various construction trades sponsoring their events. Grant Applications Now Open for Local Artists and Cultural Nonprofits In Need of Disaster Relief from Harvey Arts Recovery Fund
the Harvey Arts Recovery Fund (HARF), which supports Houston artists, performers, musicians and arts and culture organizations in need of disaster assistance. The second round of grant awards will be distributed this spring and the application is open from Feb. 15 to March 1, 2018 at www.harveyartsrecovery.org. In January, HARF awarded more than $40,000 to local artists and arts, heritage and cultural organizations who suffered personal and professional losses due to Hurricane Harvey.
City of Houston holds successful relief drive to help Hurricane Ida survivors
