Disappointment: Texans Lose Last Game of the Season to the Colts
Every New Year I hear the same statement made by individuals who can’t wait for the clock to hit midnight on December 31st. “New Year, New Me” is what they love to scream as they drink their favorite adult beverage. Well, let’s hope that the Houston Texans organization has that same mantra going into next season. Houston ended its season by losing to the Indianapolis Colts 22 – 13 to finish the season with a 4 -12 record and be ranked last in the AFC South due to the two losses to the Colts.

Simeon Booker to Be Memorialized at Washington National Cathedral January 29
A memorial service for trailblazing civil rights journalist Simeon Booker will be held on Monday, January 29, 2018, his wife, Carol McCabe Booker, has announced. The service is scheduled for 10 a.m. at the Washington National Cathedral, 3101 Wisconsin Ave. NW. Booker, a journalistic icon, died Dec. 10 at the age of 99.

The main thing I got from the article was something he said when he was talking about his daughter. Mexican government and business leaders agreed to raise the country's minimum wage starting on December 1 to 88.36 pesos from 80.04 pesos.
