HISD to receive 250 bicycles from Houston Parks Board to create Art Bike Parade entries
The Houston Independent School District this weekend will receive 250 new bicycles donated by the Houston Parks Board, in collaboration with the Orange Show Center of Visionary Art, to enable students and teachers to create entries for the city’s inaugural Art Bike Parade on Saturday, May 9.

Normally it would take a complete cycle of OTA’s and training camp for the football fans in Houston to get over the loss. Most fans would start looking over the list of free agents that would be available and hoping that new general manager and head coach Bill O’Brien would bring in players to improve the team. Anything to help pass the time until the first game of the 2020 NFL season.

Today, presidential candidate Tom Steyer released a proposal that would provide working families with a 10% tax cut that benefits 95% of all Americans. To rebalance the economy and help out the millions of families that need help with the basic necessities, the plan calls for an expansion of the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC), the Child Tax Credit (CTC) and a $2 trillion infrastructure plan to provide good-paying long-term jobs.
