Being born in Freeport, NY and raised in Sugar Land, Texas, Brionna prides herself on having truly experienced the best of both worlds. Brionna recently graduated from Hofstra University with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. She previously held positions as a College Associate for Fox News Channel and an intern at Emmis Communications. She also worked with ABC7NY at the first Presidential Debate of 2016. At the debate, Brionna sat on a millennial panel discussing the candidates’ performance among the 18-29 age group and ran the channels social media accounts for the day. As a journalist one of her favorite experiences was interviewing Rachel Izen, star of Broadway’s Les Miserables. Telling stories is Brionna’s passion, from political to entertainment and lifestyle pieces she believes every story can be told in a fun and interesting way. In her free time she loves visiting the theatre and engaging in outdoor activities. Brionna is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated and the National Association of Black Journalists.
