The National Weather Service in Brownsville has issued a
* Flood Warning for...
Southeastern Hidalgo County in Deep South Texas...
Northwestern Cameron County in Deep South Texas...
* Until 1045 PM CDT Saturday.
* At 1045 AM CDT, a number of main thoroughfares and several minor
roads remained in flood across these areas. According to the Texas
Department of Transportation, these roads included: FM 1425 near
Santa Rosa and IH 2 State Highway 107 between La Villa and Santa
Rosa FM 506 between Santa Rosa and La Feria FM 1015 north of
Weslaco and north of Progreso FM 491 south of Indian Hills There
was also standing water of unknown depth along the frontage road
near Mercedes.
Other local roads may also be flooded, but details were unknown as
of this time. Overall, conditions were gradually improving across
the warned area, and it`s possible that these warnings will be
discontinued at some point late today.

Weslaco, Mercedes, La Feria, Progreso and Santa Rosa.
