TSU graduates achieved an impressive 84 percent passage rate, surpassing the national rate of 77.5 percent and the state rate of 79 percent. This accomplishment positions COPHS as the third-highest performing pharmacy school out of the nine in the state of Texas.

Dr. Rashid Mosavin, Dean of the COPHS, expressed his pride in the class of 2023, emphasizing the collaborative effort that contributed to their success. "I am proud of the class of 2023 in their success in passing the licensure exam. This passage rate is a reflection of the hard work of our students, faculty, and staff, as well as the unwavering support of alumni who invested in their exam preparation. We celebrate this collective achievement for what it means for the future of these young pharmacists, the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, the university, and the communities they will serve throughout their careers."
