Get ready for an unforgettable evening filled with culture, history, and the powerful art of storytelling! The NAACP Houston Branch’s Armed Services & Veterans Affairs Committee is proud to invite you to a special preview performance of the award-winning military drama Camp Logan at The Ensemble Theatre on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at 7:30 PM.

This compelling World War I drama, written by the talented Celeste Bedford Walker and directed by Allie Woods Jr., is based on the harrowing true story of the 1917 Houston riot involving an ALL-Black Army regiment. The play offers an unflinching look at the racial tensions that exploded in the streets of Houston, leaving a lasting mark on the city's history.
