The American Red Cross Texas Gulf Coast region is helping more than 65 people recover after an apartment fire yesterday at the Stonehave Apartments near the Galleria. The ladies were in mass numbers to support the film Hidden Figures that tells the story of three extraordinary women – Katherine G. Johnson, Dorothy Vaughan, and Mary Jackson - who made NASA history by helping with the launch of astronaut John Glenn into orbit. All three women are members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
