Alliance Wellness Clinic Receives $750,000 Grant to Launch Innovative Domestic Violence Intervention Initiative

Project focused on potential harm doers to stop violence before it happens awarded grant on behalf of the Mayor’s Office of Human Trafficking and Domestic Violence

The Alliance was recently awarded $750,000 of grant funding from the City of Houston Mayor’s Office of Human Trafficking and Domestic Violence (MOHTDV) to design, execute, and administer an evidence-based, preventive, domestic violence intervention program. The MOHTDV’s goal is to provide funding for projects that are innovative, culturally competent, and focused on intervening in communities of color and ethnic minorities when it comes to preventing domestic violence.

On Tuesday, July 30th K. Michelle visited him to promote her Rebel Against event. It gives her new album, Rebellious Soul a bigger platform to make a major impact. She goes to various cities asking girls and women, "What are rebelling against?" In Houston, she partnered with Saving Our Daughters to host the Houston event. I wanted to know if you could blur the faces of the people walking around the background. A lot them are in hiding from their abusers. I don't know why they were trying to get on camera. Showing their faces could put their safety in danger.
