State Representative Sylvester Turner on Friday confirmed his candidacy for Mayor of Houston He's headlining the campaign by proposing "a new Road to the Future initiative" to teach young Houstonians life skills. Turner announced plans to formally kick off his campaign March 28 at Minute Maid Park in downtown.

Houston Ballet Cancels the Remainder of Its 2019-2020 Season

Houston Ballet announces its cancellation of the rest of its 2019-2020 season due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis. Performances effected include the rescheduled dates for Forged in Houston (May 21-31), Romeo & Juliet (June 4-14) and From Houston to the World, which was in the works to be rescheduled later in the season.
