The Gunman Trailer

The new international trailer for The Gunman has been released and it looks very, very impressive. Not only does it boast one hell of a cast, but it also looks as though it will give each of its actors plenty of room to flaunt their talents. Check out the first trailer for The Gunman. It looks as though The Gunman is Sean Penn’s own politically-charged attempt at a Taken film. And that’s something that we should all be pretty excited about. The Gunman is also Penn’s first bona-fide action role, which means that it will show us a side of his skills that we’ve not been privy to before. The film’s simple plot revolves around Sean Penn’s Martin Terrier, an international military operative who wants out in order to settle down with the love of his life, played by Italian actress, Jasmine Trinca. However his employees decide that he can’t retire, and instead they start a game of cat and mouse that results in Terrier traveling across the length and breadth of Europe. Sean Penn is easily one of the best actors of his generation and it’s a cinematic atrocity that he hasn’t appeared in more films over the last few years. This will be Sean Penn’s first film since his brief appearance in 2013’s The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, which came just a few short months after he’d been the only good thing in Gangster Squad. In fact since his Oscar-winning turn in 2008’s Milk the only other appearances he has made have been in Fair Game, The Tree Of Life and This Must Be The Place. None of which have allowed Sean Penn to truly flex his acting muscles.

Knight Of Cups Trailer

The first trailer for Terrence Malick’s new film Knight Of Cups has been released and it is just as peculiar and beautiful as you’d expect. It also gives us a look at Knight Of Cups’ rather magnificent cast, which boasts arguably the three best actors in Hollywood at the moment. As you can probably tell, Knight Of Cups won’t be for everyone. But Terrence Malick does appear to have embraced a more mainstream plot that looks as though it will revolve around Christian Bale’s attempt to juggle relationships with both Cate Blanchett and Natalie Portman. Along the way he will almost certainly incorporate the usual visual decadence and subtle plotting that has become a hallmark of his films too. The fact that Knight Of Cups features the combined acting talent of Christian Bale, Cate Blanchett and Natalie Portman is enough to intrigue any passionate moviegoer though. But it doesn’t stop there. The rest of the ensemble is packed out with Brian Dennehy, Antonio Banderas, Freida Pinto, Wes Bentley, Teresa Palmer, and Imogen Poots, while Ben Kingsley’s voice will also feature in some fashion too. Not too shabby. Of course the fact that Terrence Malick is widely regarded as one of the most visually innovative and compelling filmmakers in the history of cinema is the reason why each of these actors leapt at the opportunity to join the ensemble for the film. Plus, he also has developed a rather wonderful habit of coercing career-defining performances from each of his cast too. The fact that he oversaw Sean Penn in The Thin Red Line, Martin Sheen in Badlands, and Richard Gere in Days Of Heaven is proof of that.

The Entourage Trailer

"Sadly, all good parties must come to an end." This is the phrase that sets the tone for our first look at Entourage, the 2015 feature-length film based on the popular (but now defunct) HBO series. It’s a meta start for the trailer, essentially starting with a trailer for a separate, fictional film starring Adrian Grenier’s Vincent Chase. And it looks like it’s going to be some type of sci-fi/superhero/action/kung-fu hybrid before the "trailer" is paused and we can get to the meat of the tease for this movie… namely, Jeremy Piven’s award-winning portrayal of frustrated super-agent Ari Gold yelling at Chase and his crew for screwing up. Again. The first trailer for the Entourage film boasts all of the things that fans loved about the old television show. It offers an unprecedented look behind the scenes of modern Hollywood, dabbling in disputes waged between talent, and the power-brokers who let actors and directors live the lifestyles of the rich and famous. At the same time, it swims in all of the perks that come with Chase’s success – hence, him needing an entourage in the first place. We get plenty of shots of Vince, E (Kevin Connolly), Turtle (Jerry Ferrara) and Drama (Kevin Dillon) playing in fancy cars and on expensive boats with girls

JUST MERCY – Main Trailer

JUST MERCY In theaters this December. https://www.justmercyfilm.com/ https://www.facebook.com/JustMercyFilm/ https://www.instagram.com/justmercyfilm/ https://twitter.com/JustMercyFilm Michael B. Jordan (“Black Panther,” “Creed,” “Creed II”) and Oscar winners Jamie Foxx (“Ray,” “Baby Driver,” “Django: Unchained”) and Brie Larson (“Room,” “The Glass Castle,” “Captain Marvel”) star in “Just Mercy,” an inspiring drama that brings one of the most important stories of our time to the big screen. Award-winning filmmaker Destin Daniel Cretton (“The Glass Castle,” “Short Term 12”) directed the film from a screenplay he co-wrote, based on the award-winning nonfiction bestseller by Bryan Stevenson. A powerful and thought-provoking true story, “Just Mercy” follows young lawyer Bryan Stevenson (Jordan) and his history-making battle for justice. After graduating from Harvard, Bryan had his pick of lucrative jobs. Instead, he heads to Alabama to defend those wrongly condemned or who were not afforded proper representation, with the support of local advocate Eva Ansley (Larson). One of his first, and most incendiary, cases is that of Walter McMillian (Foxx), who, in 1987, was sentenced to die for the notorious murder of an 18-year-old girl, despite a preponderance of evidence proving his innocence and the fact that the only testimony against him came from a criminal with a motive to lie. In the years that follow, Bryan becomes embroiled in a labyrinth of legal and political maneuverings and overt and unabashed racism as he fights for Walter, and others like him, with the odds—and the system—stacked against them. The main cast also includes Rob Morgan (“Mudbound”) as Herbert Richardson, a fellow prisoner who also sits on death row awaiting his fate; Tim Blake Nelson (“Wormwood”) as Ralph Myers, whose pivotal testimony against Walter McMillian is called into question; Rafe Spall as Tommy Chapman, the DA who is fighting to uphold Walter’s conviction and sentence; and O’Shea Jackson Jr. (“Straight Outta Compton”) as Anthony Ray Hinton, another wrongly convicted death row inmate whose cause is taken up by Bryan. The film is produced by two-time Oscar nominee Gil Netter (“Life of Pi,” “The Blind Side”), Asher Goldstein (“Short Term 12”) and Michael B. Jordan. Bryan Stevenson, Mike Drake, Niija Kuykendall, Gabriel Hammond, Daniel Hammond, Scott Budnick, Jeff Skoll and Charles D. King served as executive producers. Cretton co-wrote the screenplay with Andrew Lanham (“The Glass Castle”), based on Stevenson’s book Just Mercy: A Story of Justice and Redemption. Published in 2014 by Spiegel & Grau, the book has spent more than 150 weeks on The New York Times Best Sellers List, and counting. It was also named one of the year’s best books by a number of top publications, including TIME Magazine. For the book, Stevenson also won the Andrew Carnegie Medal for Excellence, an NAACP Image Award, and the Dayton Literary Peace Prize for Nonfiction. Cretton’s behind-the-scenes creative team included director of photography Brett Pawlak, production designer Sharon Seymour, editor Nat Sanders and composer Joel P. West, all of whom previously collaborated with the director on “The Glass Castle.” They are joined by costume designer Francine Jamison-Tanchuck (“Detroit,” “Roman J. Israel, Esq.”). Warner Bros. Pictures presents, in Association with Endeavor Content/One Community/Participant Media/Macro, a Gil Netter Production, an Outlier Society Production, “Just Mercy.” The film is slated for limited release on December 25, 2019 and will go wide on January 10, 2020. “Just Mercy” will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures and has been rated PG-13 for thematic content, including some racial epithets.

But when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, Barry becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation, and there are no Super Heroes to turn to. That is, unless Barry can coax a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian… albeit not the one he’s looking for. But will making the ultimate sacrifice be enough to reset the universe? “The Flash” ensemble also includes rising star Sasha Calle, Michael Shannon (“Bullet Train,” “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice”), Ron Livingston (“Loudermilk,” “The Conjuring”), Maribel Verdú (“Elite,” “Y tu mamá también”), Kiersey Clemons (“Zack Snyder’s Justice League,” “Sweetheart”), Antje Traue (“King of Ravens,” “Man of Steel”) and Michael Keaton (“Spider-Man: Homecoming,” “Batman”). “The Flash” is produced by Barbara Muschietti (the “IT” films, “Mama”) and Michael Disco (“Rampage,” “San Andreas”). The executive producers are Toby Emmerich, Walter Hamada, Galen Vaisman and Marianne Jenkins. Run All Night Official Trailer #1

In Run All Night, we see Liam Neeson's Jimmy Conlon squaring off against Ed Harris' Shawn Maguire. The two men are friends who've turned enemies after Neeson kills Harris' son to protect his own. Now it's up to Neeson and his son, played by Joel Kinnaman, to stay ahead of Harris' goons, crooked cops, and any one else that stands in the way of the duo surviving a rather perilous night in New York City. After watching the trailer for Run All Night, it looks like the project brings an even balance of good news and bad news. We'll start with the good news: the action looks on par with some of the finest Liam Neeson action pictures we've seen in recent years. In particular, the shot of Neeson wielding a particularly acrobatic shotgun is one of the coolest shots we've seen in a long while. Not to mention, the fact that Liam Neeson and Ed Harris are facing each other is a match up we wouldn't miss even if this film was directed by the man behind Unknown and Non-Stop.

San Andreas Trailer

The Rock is an asskicker. Put someone or something in front of him, and he’ll kick its ass. Stone Cold Steve Austin? A franchise with diminishing box office returns? He’s ready to handle anything, including, apparently, an earthquake. Directed by Brad Peyton, the film follows The Rock and his ex-wife Carla Gugino in the aftermath of an earthquake that rips apart California. He’s a helicopter pilot, and they decide to travel from Los Angeles to San Francisco to save their daughter, played by Alexandra Daddario. Trust me, you remember her from True Detective. It reportedly cost about $100 million to make, and judging by these graphics, it looks like the money was well spent. As with most disaster pictures, San Andreas targets – and topples – California (to the haunting tones of the famous "California Dreamin" by The Mamas and the Papas). The Rock grimaces and shouts as a savior diving into action when the big one hits. We see the Hollywood sign fall. We see ripples scream through downtown Los Angeles. We get a hint of the threat to San Francisco. And then the mother of all warnings arrives. Paul Giamatti, playing some kind of seismic expert, warns the East Coast that even though this is happening to the Golden State, they aren’t safe, either.
