Tenoch Huerta Joins the Expanding 2023 Comicpalooza Roster

Comicpalooza, along with SWAU, is bringing Black Panther 2 breakout star, Tenoch Huerta, to the pop-culture festival, joining newly added guests Alaqua Cox, who portrays Echo in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Chad Coleman, Titus Welliver and WWE Hall of Fame inductees Mick Foley and Amy Dumas a.k.a. Lita. Comicpalooza happens May 26 – 28 at Houston’s George R. Brown Convention Center, with celebrity panels, photograph and autograph opportunities occurring Saturday and Sunday.

In a significant move toward preserving Houston's historical land- marks, the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, a beacon of African American heritage in Texas, has been granted $180,000 by the esteemed Af- rican American Cultural Heritage Action Fund, an initiative by the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

The annual event will bring together hundreds of museum professionals and institutions from across the state of Texas to Houston from April 18-21, 2018.

The Texas Association of Museums (TAM) will host its annual meeting this year in Houston on April 18-21 at the downtown Hyatt Regency Houston.
