Graduation Ceremony for FEMA Corps Teams who assisted with Hurricane Harvey Recovery

After completing 10 months and 1,700 service hours, some spent helping the survivors of Hurricane Harvey, a number of FEMA Corps and National Civilian Community Corps (NCCC) Traditional AmeriCorps teams will be honored with a ceremony in Houston on Wednesday, Nov.15. Governor Abbott Appoints Five To Texas Commission on the Arts

Governor Greg Abbott has appointed Mary Ann Apap Heller and Karen Partee to the Texas Commission on the Arts for terms set to expire on August 31, 2019. Additionally, the Governor appointed Adrian Guerra and reappointed Dale Brock and Kevin Yu to the commission for terms set to expire on August 31, 2023.
