Bank of America (BofA) is giving Rebuilding Together Houston (RTH) a $30,000 grant to provide window AC/heater units to the most in-need low-income homeowners in underserved neighborhoods. The record-breaking summer heat is threatening low-income Houston area residents more than ever. The AC units will be given to families living at or below the poverty level in aging homes with inefficient temperature control and poor air quality, as they are most at risk for health and safety challenges.
