As part of National Poetry Month, Mayor Sylvester Turner announced the selections of Deborah Mouton - an internationally-known poet, singer, actress, photographer, wife and mother - as Houston’s third Poet Laureate and Fareena Arefeen as the city’s second Youth Poet Laureate.
