Checkers Teams Up With Hometown Hero Slim Thug to Provide College Students With A Prize Pack For Fall 2023!
For over 3 years, rapper Slim Thug has partnered with America's #1 French Fry restaurant, Checkers, to bring the Houston community various events ranging from collecting gifts during the holidays for local organizations, providing lunch for HBCU students during the Final Four Weekend, feeding families at Cuney homes and more. Both Slim Thug and Checkers have a deep love for connecting and serving the community. In early June, Checkers announced their “Off To College Sweepstakes” campaign to help college students. Two lucky students will win a new laptop, a mini fridge, school supplies, items to decorate their dorm, and a surprise from Slim Thug.
