New PAC formed to pass Harris County Hospital Bonds

In a bipartisan display of unity, Harris County Commissioners voted unanimously today to place a $2.5 billion hospital bond measure on the November 7 ballot to expand access to healthcare for more than 1,175,000 uninsured residents. The funds will benefit Harris Health System, the county’s hospital district.

HMH will be open to the public Labor Day, Monday, September 4 with free admission for active duty servicemembers and their families through the Blue Star Museums program. Mortgage rates soar to their highest level in 21 years
US mortgage rates surged this week, rising to their highest level in 21 years. The 30-year fixed-rate mortgage averaged 7.09% in the week ending August 17, up from 6.96% the week before, according to data from Freddie Mac released Thursday. A year ago, the 30-year fixed-rate was 5.13%.

Harmony Public Schools Slam Dunks Distracted Driving
