Hornets will be repping the Jumpman logo next season.

The Charlotte Hornets have announced that next season they'll be wearing Jordan Brand uniforms, the only team in the league that will be doing so as the NBA shifts from Adidas jerseys to Nike.

With Nike taking over as the NBA's official uniform manufacturer in the 2017-18 season, it's fitting that Michael Jordan, the Hornets' principal owner and chairman, wants to see his team repping the Jumpman logo moving forward.

Via the Hornets' press release,

"The re-opening of the Hornets Fan Shop will coincide with the launch of the team's new Jordan Brand uniforms as Nike becomes the NBA's uniform provider beginning this season. The Hornets will be the only team in the NBA wearing Jordan Brand uniforms, and with the agreement taking effect, the Hornets Fan Shop will have even more of the popular Jordan Brand Hornets merchandise than it has had previously."

With the exception of the Jordan logo on the chest of Charlotte's jerseys, their uniforms won't be noticeably different from the other 29 teams who'll be sporting The Swoosh.

The Hornets' direct affiliation with Jordan Brand could provide for some unique alternate jerseys in the 2017-18 season and beyond, though they've yet to announce any plans for something like an Air Jordan 3 inspired, cement-printed uniform.
