AUSTIN – On behalf of the White family, the Office of Governor Greg Abbott today released funeral and memorial service details for former Governor Mark White. Funeral services will take place in Houston, TX at Second Baptist Church on Wednesday, August 9th at 11:00 a.m. On Thursday, August 10th, Governor White will be driven to Austin, TX where he will lay in state in the Capitol rotunda from 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m., after which he will be driven to the Texas State Cemetery to be laid to rest in a private ceremony for family.
