HOUSTON - Police are investigating a murder-suicide at a southwest Houston home after finding two people deceased inside the home on Saturday morning.

According to the Houston Police Department, they received a call around 9:30 a.m. from a 9-year-old girl saying her mother, Kendra Moore, and her mother's boyfriend, Solomon Morrow, were dead in the living room.

Police said the girl told them the two had been arguing around 1 a.m. Saturday morning. She said her mother's boyfriend yelled something before she heard gunshots.

Neighbors told KHOU 11 News the man worked as a lawyer. They say the couple argued constantly.

"I honestly just told my kids that I saw something like this happening, because you'd just see them fussing and fighting. One day they'd be arguing. She'd hop in the car and speed off." said Willanda Sykes, a neighbor.

Neighbors also said they heard gunshots, but the police weren't notified until the child's call later in the morning.

Investigators believe the man is responsible for shooting his girlfriend and then himself.

"We've made no calls out here for domestic violence, but whatever happened it was just the straw that broke the camel's back. He just snapped." said detective, Christopher Elder with the Houston Police Department.

In addition to the 9-year-old girl, the couple had infant triplets inside the home. Police said the triplets were born in August.
