Caution Urged as METRO Adapts Service to Cope with High Water & Severe Weather

Prepare for a difficult morning as METRO adapts routes to cope with heavy rain and throughout its service area. Please check METRO alerts and our website for regular updates. Be aware of high water and stay safe.
Operations affected by this morning's extreme rainfall include:
METRORail Green Line Suspended
Purple Line Service only between Palm Center and EADO
Red Line Service on south end is limited to operation from Fannin South to Smith Lands and Hermann Park/Rice U to Texas Medical Center due to high water at Greenbriar and Braeswood.
Red Line Service on the north end continues between Burnett and Northline only. No service between Burnett and Hermann Park/Rice U.
ALL METRO HOV lanes are currently closed
