Sixteen-year-old actress, model, and activist Maya Henry will spearhead fundraising efforts for Tree Media Foundation during the 2017 Maxim Party silent auction on February 4, 2017 in Houston, Texas. The silent auction is an annual Maxim Party tradition which raises money for charitable organizations.

An activist from Texas and daughter of personal injury attorney, Thomas J. Henry, Maya is heavily involved in philanthropic and community engagement projects in Texas and beyond. Most recently, her organization helped to raise funds for and distribute school supplies to low income schools in Texas. This year, Maya Henry picked Tree Media Foundation as the silent auction beneficiary. Tree Media Foundation is a non-profit organization committed to educating the public on environmental issues.

“I support Tree Media Foundation because the work they do educating the public on environmental issues is extremely important,” Maya Henry stated. “Using cause-related filmmaking to introduce these issues to a broader audience is an inspired effort. I will continue to help in any way I can.”

The 2017 Maxim Party, is organized by Karma International and presented by Thomas J. Henry. Ticket information and event details can be found at http://mayaisabellahenry.com/.
