Washington, DC – Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, a senior member of the House Committees on Judiciary and Homeland Security and Ranking Member of the Judiciary Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism, Homeland Security and Investigations, released the following statement about the WikiLeaks publication of files purported to have been hack from the CIA:
“This is a devastating blow to the American people. The fine men and women of the intelligence community work to keep us safe. It’s devastating that a hack of this nature may wind up costing lives. It’s important for Congress and other relevant agencies to determine in the best way possible how to stop this and who was behind it.”
