Prosecutors and Attorney Rick Detoto gathered inside the 3131th Juvenile court of Judge Glenn Devlin on Wednesday, in regards to the 2016 death of former NFL player Antonio Armstrong and his wife. Attorney Rick Detoto confirmed to reporters that his client Antonio Armstrong Jr. will be tried as an adult for the murder of his parents. Dawn and Antonio Armstrong were killed on Jul. 29, 2016 at their home in southwest Houston. The shooting happened around 2:15 a.m. on Palmetto at Mapleridge.
