The Greater Houston Transportation Company (Yellow Cab Houston) announced it now uses the zTrip platform, a nationwide on-demand transportation application. zTrip offers the safety of a taxi or black car service with all the ease and convenience of a ride hailing app. Through zTrip’s user-friendly interface, customers will also have the ability to select either traditional taxicab or black car service – on-demand or for a scheduled set time, date and location. It will provide an increase in transportation services to city residents, launching with a zTrip-equipped and branded fleet of nearly 1,500 vehicles — and growing daily — including taxicabs, wheelchair accessible vehicles and executive cars.
