Prague Fashion Week Street Style

Location: Prague, Czech Republic

Season: Fall/Winter 2017

Key Looks: Double trouble Ozweego Bunny by Raf Simons for adidas (slide #7), a sartorial slice of social justice activism (slide #5), and some winning, twinning pin-stripe steez (slide #20).

It seems the Czechs are no strangers to the art of peacocking at fashion week, and as you can see above, they served a smorgasbord of trend-led inspo. As expected, there was plenty of retro sportswear, motocross gear, deconstructed tailoring, and vintage band tees.

The main trend take away? Distress to impress. Given that Prague is a highly underrated treasure trove for vintage threads, it makes sense that the city’s style set offered a solid lesson in wearing vintage denim. From wide leg cut short and worn with ankle boots and buzzy sneakers, to acid-wash slouchy boyfriend fits to fine flares and sublime raw edges, Prague knows how to do denim.
