HOUSTON - Dozens of people were left stranded in the rain after attending RodeoHouston on Friday night when their cars were towed from a Sears parking lot.

According to rodeo patrons, people have been parking at the Sears parking lot off Fannin at Wheeler in Mid-for years then catching the Metro Rail and taking the train to the Rodeo.

Some said they had been parking there all week and didn't see any tow signs.

"We were here three days this week and no problems," said a driver.

But brand new signs were recently put up which read "No Parking" resulting in many cars being towed to the surprise of rodeo patrons.

When our camera crew arrived to the scene, there were signs posted. It is unknown if Sears management authorized this or not.
