Ja Rule receives Bahamas business ban for damages Fyre Festival has wrought on the the country's reputation.

Ja Rule has been barred from doing business in the Bahamas by the country's Ministry of Tourism in light of his role in this weekend's disastrous Fyre Festival, TMZ reports. His business partner Billy McFarland has also been banned.

The public relations disaster caused by the Fyre Festival's epic failure will likely cost the Bahamas' tourism industry millions of dollars. The festival declined the Ministry of Tourism's offer to help with logistics, and now the country is reportedly planning to implement a stricter vetting system with festivals intending to set up shop there in the future.

This Bahamian ban is the least of Ja and McFarland's problems; Celebrity lawyer Mark Geragos has filed a class-action lawsuit against Fyre Festival that intends to recoup over $100 million in damages.
