Style Magazine Newswire | 5/15/2017, 4:09 p.m.
From 9:45 a.m. to Noon TOMORROW (Monday, May 15), members of the Houston Police Department's Training Division will open the doors to the Houston Police Academy L. D. Morrison, Sr. Memorial Center, 17000 Aldine Westfield, to hundreds of Houston-area students to provide an inside look at various aspects of HPD.
The visiting students will be partaking in pre-scheduled tours and other activities associated with National Police Week.
It is during Police Week that we remember and honor those who have given the ultimate sacrifice of their lives so that we may live in safety and peace. Please join the Houston Police Department in commemorating the law enforcement officers who have selflessly dedicated their lives in the line of duty while serving to protect the citizens of our great city.
Citizens are encouraged to drive with their headlights on this week in remembrance of those officers.
For more information on how to participate in pre-scheduled tours, contact the HPD Museum at HPDMuseum@houstonpolice.org">_tmp_url_2_houstonpolice.org
