The Women’s Business Enterprise Alliance (WBEA) is gearing up for their 2017 Annual Business Expo and Matchmaking Event. Embracing the quote from Fashion Icon Coco Chanel - “In order to be irreplaceable, one must always be different”; this year’s theme will challenge Certified Women-owned Businesses (WOB's) to Dare To Be Different when attending this year's EXPO!

This two-day interactive event will focus on the power of collaboration through sessions such as one-on-one business matchmaking, expo trade shows and subject matter expert roundtables giving women owned business who are certified a leg up in doing business with corporate purchasers, governmental agencies and other WOB's.

“The WBEA is comprised of Certification and relationships and our EXPO is the one place where WBE’s can connect with other corporate industries to build those relationships,” stated WBEA President April Day. “We want women to work together because we are stronger together!”

This year's WBEA EXPO attendees can expect 15 minute one-on-one Matchmaking sessions with corporate entities such as EXXON, Shell, Marathon and many more top corporations giving them an opportunity to formally introduce their companies to buyers and supplier diversity representatives.

"We were very strategic with our matchmaking sessions this year, stated Day." "Instead of having several WBE's meet with these corporations because they wanted to work with them, we made sure the opportunities were tangible and the WBE could fulfill the opportunity. This will create a good match for a business that's ready to fill the need of that corporation."
