Houston, TX. Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) will be hosting her Annual Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway Extravaganza again this holiday season. This year has been especially trying for many in Houston, particularly senior citizens who were among the most vulnerable and hardest hit by Hurricane Harvey. The Congresswoman has experienced the devastation firsthand, and would like to provide relief to help remind constituents that there is still so much to be thankful for.

Jackson Lee: “Each year at this time, families gather together to give thanks for their many blessings. This year in particular, we give thanks as a collective family who weathered the storm by offering help to one another when we needed it most.”
