On Saturday, Oct 21 the Houston Area Urban League (HAUL) and Delivering Good launched four free pop-up shop across Houston, providing FREE, private shopping experiences to families impacted by Hurricane Harvey. As a part of HAUL’s Operation Safe Houston Hurricane Relief project each pop-up shop was stocked from more than $5 million in new merchandise including apparel, footwear, household items and more, donated by manufacturers and retailers across the United States.

Mayor Turner, Council Member Amanda Edwards, Roberta Shield (mother to "Ludacris" Chris Bridges), and Houston Rockets Mascot "Clutch" were in attendance to celebrate the day.
