Kingwood, Texas – October 30, 2017 - Frank and Stacey LaViola are Katy residents and local experts in emergency services with their franchise office Paul Davis of West Houston. The couple has donated much needed home restoration and repairs to Kingwood Park High School’s Auto Collision program instructor Jeff Wilson and his family. In coordination with The Collision Industry Foundation (CIF), the LaViolas will help the Wilsons after more than three-feet of water and debris flooded their home in Kingwood during Hurricane Harvey and when the levies were systematically breached in the area.
As a member of CIF, Frank LaViola shares the organization’s commitment to working with all industry segments to deliver aid to those devastated by natural disasters while providing emergency relief directly to collision repair professionals. The LaViolas and CIF are calling on all shops, trade groups, equipment companies, paint companies, insurance companies and all other industry organizations that can assist in relief efforts.
According to Frank LaViola, after more than 25 years in the worldwide auto and collision industry and now as a Paul Davis franchise office owner, his work for the Wilson family was immediately offered in conjunction with CIF’s communications to assist the family.
“Helping Jeff, his wife Amber and their son Shiloh is very important to Stacey and me. A vital part of the Paul Davis mission is to help customers in their time of need. This was definitely a time of need for the Wilsons,” he said.
Once the water receded in the Wilson’s home, Jeff Wilson began the initial clean up and removal of drywall, along with debris. Paul Davis of West Houston provided additional interior clean up, removing drywall and some cabinetry, setting up fans and drying equipment to start the water damage restoration process. All labor and supplies were donated from the LaViolas. The LaViolas want Paul Davis Emergency Services to be known as a company that gives considerable contributions back to the community, especially during a catastrophe such as Hurricane Harvey.
“The overwhelming support we’ve received from Paul Davis and professionals in the auto industry is demonstrating great care from people across the globe. It’s like a family supporting its own in a real time of need,” said Wilson. The Wilsons will live in a fifth-wheel trailer on their property until the home is rebuilt. “I estimate close to six months before we can even think about moving into a safe structure,” said Wilson. Wilson is currently working with his insurance carrier and area homebuilders to fix and reconstruct his home.
The LaViolas own and operate six Paul Davis emergency restoration offices in the Greater Houston area with service in Katy, Rosenberg, Cypress, Tomball, Missouri City and East Cypress. According to Frank LaViola, once disaster strikes with flood or fire or wind or mold, property owners seeking renovation, remediation, and restoration can benefit from emergency management services and highly-trained and certified technicians with vast experience. The Paul Davis offices are located in a 3,000-square-foot warehouse at 11875 West Little York, Suite 1005 in Houston. For more information, call 713-937-1981.
