Diamond Griffith earns Miss Black Harris County title and will represent the county in the Miss Black Texas Pageant.

The search for Miss Black Harris County 2017 has ended and a new queen emerges. Diamond Griffith, a native Houstonian, has been crowned Miss Black Harris County 2017. This beauty queen has brains, brilliance, heart and proves beauty queens are more than just a pretty face. Her platform is “Authentically True” which focuses on embracing ones flaws, and turning them into unique characteristics.

Diamond will work across the city of Houston promoting her platform and helping to increase awareness of this very important issue. This Baker University graduate has a degree in criminal justice and sociology, and is aspiring to be an attorney and one day, a judge. She also serves as an Intercessory Leader at the Harvest Time Church, is employed by the Texas Department of Health and Human Services and a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

Diamond will go on to represent the county and compete in the 2018 Miss Black Texas pageant.
