A Killeen woman is under fire after she complained about a fall decor display on Hobby Lobby's Facebook page. The woman, Daniell Rider, posted a photo of raw cotton plants in vases -- presumably on shelves at her local Hobby Lobby store -- and said "This decor is WRONG on SO many levels. There is nothing decorative about raw cotton... A commodity, which was gained at the expense of African-American slaves. A little sensitivity goes a long way. PLEASE REMOVE THIS 'decor.'" The post has been shared 16,000 times since it was posted on Thursday. People were quick to come to the defense of Hobby Lobby's display. One woman asked Rider whether she got offended at the sight of commodities like sugar, coffee and rice -- materials once planted, harvested by slaves.
