The festival is presented by Ebony Magazine and will feature award winning marketing expert, author and speaker; Velma Trayham. Velma will be honored by the Houston based Black Heritage Festival on Saturday September 30, 2017 in Texas.

This year’s Black Heritage Festival and honor in Houston, comes on the heels of the release of Velma's latest book; “When God Says Go”. The new book from author Trayham, is an encouraging leader’s handbook, especially for aspiring entrepreneurs.
