Michael Brown, a 17-year old high school senior, applied for scholarships to 20 of the best universities in the US. Every one of those 20 prestigious universities offered him a full ride and $260,000 in additional scholarship offers. Among the universities where Brown got accepted, his top choices are Harvard, Princeton, Northwestern, Yale, University of Pennsylvania, Stanford, Georgetown, and Vanderbilt. However, local Fox anchors in Washington, D.C. criticized the teen calling him “obnoxious.” They also added that Brown was taking away scholarship opportunities from other students. The senior student from Mirabeau B. Lamar High School has always been excelled in his studies and has 4.68 GPA. In fact, throughout his whole academic career, he only got one B. He is looking to study political science and also considers a second degree in economics. Michael has yet to decide which college to go to.
