Wet’n’Wild SplashTown, Houston’s largest water park featuring 41 slides, rides and attractions, is sure to make a splash this summer season as the water park opens to the public at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2018.

Wet’n’Wild SplashTown will remain open to the general public for weekends only (Friday – Sunday) through May 25; the water park will be open every day starting May 25. For a limited time, 2018 Season Passes are on sale online for $64.99 each plus tax (with Family Four-Pack purchase) or $69.99 each plus tax when purchased individually (some restrictions apply) and include a free parking pass and bring-a-friend tickets. A season pass meal plan may be added to any season pass ticket for $69.99 each plus tax and includes one meal every day of the season.

After 33 years, the 48-acre water park continues to provide guests with family-friendly entertainment all summer long by offering more value for season pass holders with the Gold Pass, new food menu items, and the chance to ride Alien Chaser, a six-story, two-person slalom drop-and-dive tube slide; Alien Chaser is the first of its kind in Texas and opened in June 2017.

New to the 2018 season is the Gold Pass, which includes all the perks of the regular Season Pass, with the additional benefits of free parking, a free souvenir bottle and bring-a-friend free days. Season Pass holders can upgrade to the Gold Pass for free until April 29.

Additionally, Rudy’s BBQ is joining the lineup of savory meal options offered at Wet’n’Wild SplashTown on weekends only, starting Memorial Day weekend. Park guests also have several new menu items to choose from this season, including spicy chicken tenders, The Texas Luau Sandwich, slow-roasted pork carnitas and The Texan Burger with onion rings and BBQ sauce. The water park will also offer a Funnel Cake of the Day throughout the entire season.

“Wet’n’Wild SplashTown is thrilled to open for the 2018 season,” Rosie Shepard, director of sales and marketing, says. “This summer will be filled with a variety of new opportunities for our park guests as Alien Chaser will be open for the entire season, and we have expanded our menu options inside the park that are unique and delicious. We can’t wait for our gates to open and for our guests to enjoy everything our park offers, and more.”
