As a new mom, ATLAS-LakeWalk in Aggie Land was the best vacation/staycation for me and my five-month old. If you’re looking for attention to detail, stellar customer service, and southern hospitality, have no fear because the ATLAS Lake Walk has you covered. I thoroughly enjoyed the “mommy spoils” at the Stella Hotel from the portable Pack and Play, refrigerator for baby formula, and a garden tub fit for a queen. The interior evoked a calming effect that will calm the fussiest baby.

ATLAS corporate campus is a component of a 1,000-acre master-planned community at the epicenter of the Texas A&M technology boom in Bryan/College Station. Spencer Clements is the visionary behind the ATLAS and Traditions development community. Comparing ATLAS to The Woodlands, he envisions this community will be a place for visitors and residents to eat, live, and play. Lake Walk is the town center component of the 1,000-acre master planned community that also includes ATLAS and Traditions Club. www.atlastx.com

Stella Hotel

  1. The Stella Hotel is a boutique hotel that provides mommy and baby full-service hospitality 24 hours a day. The garden tub was instant relaxation from the day’s fussiness, and the décor in my guest room was an urban oasis featuring Frette linens, down pillows and blankets and bath amenities by LATHER. www.thestellahotel.com @thestellahotel

  1. Stroller Walk for Moms and Yoga is a must at this property! As you do yoga outdoors, you can enjoy the sights and sounds of the lakefront and the beautiful Texas A &M Traditions Club. Not to say I’m a fitness junkie, but Lake Walk has been a popular venue for triathlons.
  1. The best way to calm a fussy baby is the great outdoors, and the best way to relax his/her mom is the Lake Walk Pavilion. The Summer Concert Series of Eats and Beats was the icing on the cake as the baby strolled and I enjoyed the local band and food trucks galore. www.lakewalktx.com

  2. Where would a mother be without the shopping? Coterie is the onsite upscale women’s boutique that offers clothing, accessories, shoes and special gifts. In the future Coterie will offer furniture and lighting, and will have an in-house interior designer, Jenny Tamplin Interiors. www.coterieboutique.com/BCS @thecoterieboutique

  1. I have to say my all- time fav was the sun bathing by the pool, and when the baby wanted to sleep we were able to wind down in the VIP reserved cabana.
