SAN SABA, Texas, December 13, 2018 – Wedding Oak Winery is relocating its tasting room in Fredericksburg, Texas. In preparation for the move, the winery has ended its lease with Wildseed Farms and will close its tasting room at that location. The last day of operations for the Wedding Oak Winery at Wildseed Farm will be December 31, 2018.
“We have had a wonderful experience entertaining guests and exciting their palates with 100 percent Texas-grown wine at our facilities at Wildseed Farm,” says Mike McHenry, managing partner, Wedding Oak Winery. “When we opened the tasting room in the Spring of 2016, we realized that having a second location in the heart of Texas’ wine tourism on the Wine Road 290 in Fredericksburg fit our goal of helping people discover our wines. We’ve been thrilled with the reception we’ve received. While we are departing Wildseed Farm, we are dedicated to opening another excellent wine destination in Fredericksburg.”
With its primary winemaking operations in San Saba, Texas, Wedding Oak Winery is committed to making it easy for people to find and purchase its wines with additional retail wine operations. Our new 8,500 square foot hospitality complex in Burnet, TX, will be open in Spring 2019. Once permitted, the new Fredericksburg tasting room on U.S. Route 290 will also open in Spring 2019.
