Healing America is the brainchild of Nelson Campbell, the founder of PlantPure Nation. He and his father, famed author and researcher Dr. T. Colin Campbell considered by many to be the “Science Father” of plant-based nutrition and health, are bringing their historic and grassroots movement to communities all over America.

Change Begins in Our Communities

What happens at the rally? The first half will cover the benefits of plant-based nutrition and how together we can empower local communities to collaborate in bringing this powerful health message to everyone in their local cities and towns, including to people in their most underserved neighborhoods. There will also be a Q&A session with the audience which will allow Houstonians to interact with The Campbells to discuss the movement and how they can be a part of it.

After the tour, a social media model will be implemented in a selected city to bring the message of plant-based nutrition to that community. “We will communicate ideas that go beyond health to bring people of varied interests and communities together,” states Nelson Campbell. The Healing America team anticipates that the success of this first community project can then be replicated nationwide.

The Documentary Film Follow-Up

The tour began in Tampa in mid-January and will criss-cross the country before finishing late in the spring. A film crew is filming the tour, both for an ongoing stream of short videos and eventually a feature film documentary entitled Healing America. The Campbells' debut film was their successful PlantPure Nation in 2015.
