HOUSTON, Texas, February 11, 2018 — Baby Bash is an American performer that has more than 400 million views on YouTube and is an advocate for the DREAM Act. Ivan Sanchez was brought to the United States at 6 years old just like a DREAMer and is now running for U.S. Congress.

Baby Bash, Ivan Sanchez, Bishop James Dixon II, local Immigration Attorney Shiva Gill and dozens of DREAMers, including a student and a firefighter, have teamed up to host an important Press Conference about DREAMers and take to action as they will take DREAMer advocacy to the community by knocking hundreds if not thousands of doors!

Who are the Dreamers?

DACA recipients are often referred to as Dreamers, after a similar piece of legislation called the Dream Act, which was introduced in 2001 and would have given its beneficiaries a path to American citizenship. They now fall between the ages of 16 and 35; the vast majority came from Mexico, though many others were born in Central and South America, Asia and the Caribbean. The status has been issued to roughly 800,000 people. There are more than 2,000 teaches in the State of Texas that are DREAMers.
