January 16, 2018 - Houston, TX - Even if you haven't experienced mental or physical abuse chances are you know someone who has. It is a widespread issue that affects many, and the purpose of the ‘Unlock Your Voice City’ tour is to encourage those affected to move beyond the pain. This nationwide tour kicks off in Houston on Friday, January 19th through Saturday, January 20th at the Omni Houston Hotel at Westside.

Organized by Alissa R. Jones, “Unlock Your Voice” is a national conference empowering the lives of women and men who have survived mental and physical abuse.

Currently, in its fourth year of existence, the “Unlock Your Voice” Conference has successfully reached an overwhelming number of survivors, growing them to become the voice for victims who go unheard. Motivated by her own battles with sexual abuse, Alissa R. Jones felt it necessary to provide a platform for survivors to embrace seen and unseen scars, find their voice, and overcome their circumstance. Platinum recording artist and brand ambassador for Survivors with Voices, Michel’le Toussant joins and hopes that her story of overcoming trauma inspires listeners to discover the self-love needed to move on from toxic relationships.
