Central Care Clinic’s lawyer Reginald McKamie tells patients don’t be alarmed by the lost of funding for Central Care Clinics. A federal judge’s ruling to block funding was issued this week. Central Care operated using grant money from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) but sued this past December to keep the funds. Court testimony from the CEO Central Care cited numerous reasons for the clinic’s low performance rating due to actions by HRSA. The clinic that mainly serves patients in South Houston was told to seek alternative funding.
